Today i.e. on April 11, PM Modi is going to have a meeting with the Chief Ministers of all the states through video conferencing. In this video conferencing of PM Modi with Chief Ministers, Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh has recommended a nationwide lockdown for at least one fortnight (15 days) in addition to special concessions for industry and agriculture sectors, according to news agency ANI.

Regarding the current situation, Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh informed during the meeting that the Punjab government has already decided curfew or complete lockdown till 1 May and all educational institutions have been closed by 30 June. State board examinations have also been postponed till the order.

Apart from this, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal suggested to Prime Minister Modi in PM Modi's video conferencing with the Chief Ministers that the lockdown should be extended by April 30 across the country. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has earlier supported the extension of the lockdown.
