On Saturday, another patient suffering from corona infection died in Punjab. The number of dead due to epidemic in the state has reached 30. The corona-infected devotee who returned from Nanded died. He was a resident of Ludhiana. It is being told that the 54-year-old man was Corona positive and died due to a heart attack.

In Zirakpur on Friday, the first death occurred from Corona, third in Mohali district and 29th of the state. The 74-year-old man was living in Saini Vihar Phase-3 of Baltana. Taking all precautions, the Health Department team has cremated him at the crematorium ghat of Sector-25 in Chandigarh. He was suffering from lung cancer.

87 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Punjab on Friday. So far, the total number of positive cases in the state is 1731. A total of 152 people have recovered and returned home. Most of the cases were reported on Friday in Gurdaspur, Nawanshahar, Amritsar. In Gurdaspur, 24 have been found in Nawanshahar, 11-11 in Amritsar, Tarn Taran and Jalandhar, 5 in Kapurthala, 4 in Fatehgarh Sahib, 1 each in Barnala, Bathinda and Mansa.
