Shortly thereafter, a statement was issued by the CMO stating, "This screenshot going viral on social media is fake. A statement was also issued by the Chief Minister's Office on Twitter in the matter stating that the screenshot was fake. A suspected patient of the new variant of Corona Omicron has been found in Ranchi. It is being said that this patient is admitted to a private hospital in Ranchi and the sample of this patient has been sent to Bhubaneswar for genome sequencing. At the same time, there is also news that according to the Civil Surgeon of Ranchi, the suspected patient does not have a travel history.
