Mumbai: Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh's troubles in the Rs 100 crore recovery case have once again been raised. Recently issued a lookout notice against him by the Enforcement Directorate. Now that this happens, he will not be able to leave the country and he is likely to be arrested soon. In fact, the ED has summoned Anil Deshmukh five times so far, though Anil Deshmukh has not come forward for questioning even once. Meanwhile, the ED is all set to summon him for the sixth. The ED has now issued a lookout notice against him so that he cannot leave the country before being summoned.

Recently, petitioner Jayashree Patil claimed that his arrest may also be expedited. The airports across the country have now been informed so that Anil Deshmukh can be stopped at the airport if he wants to leave the country. Let us tell you that Anil Deshmukh was accused by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh of using police officers to recover Rs 100 crore.

CBI was investigating the case but in the meantime, the ED launched an inquiry against Anil Deshmukh in the money laundering case. As part of the information received, the ED has so far raided different locations 12 to 14 times to trace Anil Deshmukh and three ED teams are currently searching for Deshmukh across Maharashtra.
