Today is 23 July and the month of Sawan is going on. Today is the main festival of Madhushravani and it is the most popular festival in the Mithila region of Bihar. In such a situation, you must know that married women consider this fast very important and keep their deep faith in this fast. In such a situation, today we are going to tell you the story of Madhusravani. Which must be heard today.

Story- When a girl was born in King Shrikar, the king summoned the Pandits and saw her horoscope. Pandits told that there are some defects in the girl's horoscope, due to which they will have to carry soil in the pond of Southan. The king was saddened by this and after some time passed the other world. After this, Chandrakar, son of King Shrikar, became king. Because of his affection for his sister, he did not want the sister to be under the pressure of soutan. Chandrakar made a tunnel in a dense forest in which a princess with a maid made arrangements to stay so that they would not meet any men. But fate had something else approved. One day a king named Suvarna came to that forest and came near that tunnel while playing hunting. The king was also very thirsty, so he was looking for water in the forest. Suddenly the king's eyes went on the ants who were walking in the queue carrying rice grains in the mouth.

When the king started chasing ants, he reached inside a tunnel. Here Raja Suvarna met the princess and both got married. Both stayed together in the tunnel for some time. When the king was reminded of the kingdom after a few days, he asked the princess to leave. The princess said that on the Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Saavan month, there is a festival of Madhusravani. On that day newly married girls eat food from their in-laws and wear only clothes from their in-laws. Therefore, send them before Madhusravani. The king accepted this and soon returned to his capital, promising to be taken along. The king summoned the chief garment maker of the city and ordered to make beautiful chunari. When the king's first wife came to know about this, he gave the lure of gold to the cloth maker, and ordered him to write a chest kick, a pimpled hand on Chunri. This meant that your sutan would beat on your chest and grab it and pull it. The cloth maker wrapped the chunari in such a way that the king could not understand that anything was written on it. The king gave Chunri a crow to deliver when the time came. In mythology, crow is also mentioned as a communicator. The crow was taking clothes but his vision went to the feast which the crow forgot everything and left Chunri and started eating food. The princess was angered by the lack of clothing and food on Madhusravani's day. The princess worshiped Mata Parvati with white flowers and white sandalwood and begged the goddess to say her voice on the day she met the king.

On the other hand, when the princess's brother Chandrakar came to know about the sister's marriage, he became angry and stopped sending food and drink to the sister. In such a situation, the princess and her maid had to stay hungry for several days. Meanwhile, one day it came to know that the work of digging a pond is going on nearby, then the princess went to raise soil on the pond with her maid so that money can be found for the past. It is a matter of coincidence that King Savarna also came to the pond that day because the king's first wife was getting that pond dug. The king recognized the princess and apologized for her mistake. The king brought the princess with her to the palace and gave the princess the place of the queen. But the princess could no longer speak. When the king came to know about the reason from the maid, he told that he had sent the chunari.

When Raja investigated the incident, all things came to light and then it was found that all this confusion was due to the crow. The king also got Chunri on which the message sent by the elder queen was written. The king was angry with the elder queen and punished her. The next year when Madhusravani came, the princess worshiped Mata Parvati with red flowers and red cloth and prayed to return the voice, which returned the princess's voice. After this, the king and the princess continued to enjoy married life for years.
