New Delhi: With the completion of the election of the National President of Congress, now a new round of turmoil has started in the party. Congress today targeted Shashi Tharoor over allegations of very serious irregularities in internal elections. Election in-charge Madhusudan Mistry, while replying to Shashi Tharoor's team, said I am sorry to say that you had a different face in front of me that you are satisfied with all our answers, while you had another face in the media, in which many allegations were levelled on us. 

Mallikarjun Kharge has become the first non-Gandhi Congress president in 24 years by defeating Shashi Tharoor in the election. As the counting of votes took place on Wednesday, Tharoor's election agent Salman Soz wrote to Mistry, highlighting the disturbing facts in the election process in Uttar Pradesh, demanding the cancellation of votes in the state. However, Tharoor later regretted that the internal letter was leaked despite all due diligence. He talked about forgetting it and moving forward, but the Congress's counter-attack was swift and unforgiving. 

Madhusudan Mistry furious at Shashi Tharoor:-

Mistry has written in his rebuttal that, we had accepted your request, even after this you alleged in the media that the Central Election Authority is conspiring against you. You tried to make a mountain out of a mole by making the impression that the whole exercise was unfair to your candidature. Tharoor had regularly raised his concerns regarding the uneven playing field during his election campaign for the top post of Congress. He claimed that the treatment of both candidates was very different. Few doubted Kharge's victory, as he was widely seen as the accepted candidate of the Gandhi family, although the Congress insisted that the election be free and fair.
