In the state Madhya Pradesh, the schools up to fifth standard are not going reopen by the MP Education Board at present.

Schools in Madhya Pradesh, which had been closed for almost a year due to the corona epidemic and lockdown, were expected to open in this session. But once again, given the increasing impact of Corona, this possibility has now come to an end

School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar has said that at present, schools will not be opened till class 5th. He said that at the moment our priority is to conduct 10th and 12th examinations and this examination will be offline only. Along with this, private schools have been given the exemption that they can take the examinations of other classes online or offline, as per their convenience and at the will of the parents.

As the corona pandemic is not yet over, the government will consider over the reopening of schools after the examinations are over, but the classes up to fifth standard will remain shut at present, he said.

Considering the growing corona cases in Bhopal and Indore, a continuous review is being done. Talking to the media, Inder Singh Parmar said that re-opening of the schools from class 6th to class 8th is being considered. But the final decision on opening the school for all the classes will be taken only after the examinations are over.
