In the same sequence, the functioning of the assembly will start from two o'clock in the afternoon, but sources say that CM Kamal Nath may resign before that. Actually, Congress is lagging behind in terms of numbers. It is being told that he can resign before the floor test. Press talks have also been convened at 12 noon today. After that these speculations have gained strength.

Earlier on Thursday night, Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Narmada Prasad Prajapati also accepted the resignations of 16 rebel Congress MLAs. The chairman had already accepted the resignations of 6 ministers. After Jyotiraditya Scindia rebelled against the Congress and joined the BJP, the 22 MLA left the Kamal Nath government. Of these, 19 MLAs are staying in the capital of Karnataka, Bengaluru.
