Outreach Initiatives Announced
CM Yadav announced another initiative spanning 40 days, where government officials and public representatives would reach out to citizens across wards, tehsils, and villages. This program aims to raise awareness about state welfare schemes and ensure eligible individuals benefit from these initiatives.

He further emphasized the universal appeal of the Gita, stating, "The holy Gita is a book that people across the globe discuss, read, and strive to understand. We are immensely proud of its teachings and global significance."

Significance of Gita Jayanti

Gita Jayanti, celebrated annually after Dashami Tithi of the Shukla Paksha in Margashirsha month, marks the day when Lord Shri Krishna imparted the teachings of Karma to Arjuna during the Kurukshetra war. This year, the festival coincided with December 11, alongside the observance of the Mokshada Ekadashi fast.

The sacred scripture "Gita," believed to have originated 5,000 years ago, continues to inspire and guide people worldwide with its timeless teachings on duty, devotion, and righteousness.
