70 percent of Madhya Pradesh back on track, work starts in 43 districts

Bhopal. The 70% area of Madhya Pradesh, which has been closed for 40 days, will open today with the conditional relaxation from Monday. According to the central guideline, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has extended the lockdown till May 17 after taking feedback from all the districts on Sunday. However, the third phase of lockdown in the state will be slightly different.

According to this, all the 9 districts of Red Zone including Bhopal, Indore will remain after concession area, while 24 shops in Green Zone and 19 districts of Orange Zone will get all shops, complexes, construction activities restored. Liquor, cannabis and gutkha shops will remain closed in the Red Zone. Collectors for Green and Orange will decide after discussing with the Crisis Management Group. Maximum 50 persons will be included in the Green Zone with the permission of the Collector for the marriage ceremony. Local administration will allow outside the Containment area of Red and Orange zones. The funeral will be attended by 20 people.
