Indore: Former Madhya Pradesh Forest Minister and current Congress MLA Umang Singhar from Gandhwani has been surrounded by his 'girlfriend' Sonia Bhardwaj's suicide case. After police recovered the suicide note from the spot, whatsapp chat has now revealed that Sonia was constantly suffering mental harassment.

According to media reports, police have found several evidences of a conversation between Singhar and Sonia, which suggests that Sonia was under mental stress over her relationship with Omar Singhar. However, nothing has been officially said on this. Moreover, sources said, Sonia was being stopped in the name of marriage due to which she was very upset. As per this report, the police have a lot of evidence against Singhar and in view of this, Singhar has been made accused in the case within just 30 hours of the incident. A case has been registered against him under non-bailable sections. But MLA is yet to be arrested. But the police say it will soon take the Congress leader into custody.

Police are currently investigating from every angle. Sonia's phone has been seized and every possible angle is estimated. All the evidence and statements received so far are against Singhar. Singhar was initially demanding an inquiry from the magistrate before being charged in the case. However, police said they have enough evidence against Singhar which is being collected one by one. The body of 39-year-old Sonia Bhardwaj, a resident of Ambala in Haryana, was found in the private bungalow of Congress MLA Omar Singhar in Bhopal on Sunday. Sonia had allegedly hanged herself in the bungalow.
