Bhopal: The farmers' movement is going on continuously against the three new agricultural laws of the central government. Now meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel has given a statement. He says, "The wheat in Punjab is so inferior that no one is ready to buy it." Recently, he said in one of his statements, 'No bread is eaten in the name of Punjab because the soil there is poisonous due to pesticides and hence the wheat there is poisonous'. Along with this, he also said in his statement that "If there is no purchase on support price, no one will ask for their wheat."
On February 4, Kamal Patel had prayed for giving goodwill to the agitation organizations and the political organizations that were allegedly airing this movement. With this prayer, he also fasted for a day on the banks of the Narmada River in Handia in Harda district. During this time he had said that 'Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government enacted these laws to change the fate and picture of farmers and to make agriculture a profitable business. This law is in the interest of farmers and by these laws, the income of farmers will double by the year 2022.'
At the same time, he has alleged that 'Congress and other opposition parties are misleading the farmers, because they do not want the income of the farmers to increase'. Apart from this, he also appealed to the peasant organizations agitating against agricultural laws to withdraw their movement with folded hands. He says that "this movement should be ended so that farmers can be made competent and self-reliant". Apart from this, he also said, 'The country is on the path of progress, it should be allowed to run.'
