Bhopal: Most parts of Madhya Pradesh have received rain during the last 24 hours. On the other hand, The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in the state for the next few more days. This was recently informed by PK Saha, Senior Meteorologist, IMD Bhopal Office. He said today, "During the last 24 hours, rainfall occurred at several places in Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Sagar, Ujjain and Indore divisions and at some places in Shahdol, Rewa and Chambal divisions.''

At the same time, he also said, "Most parts of the state received rain on Sunday morning and rain is likely to occur in the state for the next four to five days.'' In addition, PK Saha also said, "The monsoon time in the state starts from June 1 and ends by September 30. But this time it is expected to rain even after September 30.''

He also said, "Segaon in Khargone district of the state recorded the highest rainfall of 11 cm in the last 24 hours, while Barwah received 10 cm, Khandwa 9 cm, Mada and Rawati 8-8 cm, Kareli 7 cm and Harrai and Dewas 6-6 cm.''
