Bhopal: With the release of population control policy in Uttar Pradesh, talks are now being held in other states as well. There has been a demand for a population law in many other states. In the same vein, Minister of Cm Shivraj Singh Chouhan's Cabinet in Madhya Pradesh Vishwas Sarang has supported the Population Control Law Policy. Recently, they have demanded a Population Control Act in the State. In fact, Vishwas Sarang said in a statement, "Population control requires that it be brought under the purview of the law. For this, there should be work in the Government."

At the same time, he also said, "For the next generation of this country, it is important that the population is under control. Resources have their own limits, so it is necessary to control the population. The country's biggest problem is the population." Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath released the Uttar Pradesh Population Policy 2021-2030 last Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said, "Growing population is the root cause of inequality and other problems prevailing in the society and population control is the primary condition for the progress of the society. The Uttar Pradesh State Law Commission is working on the subject of 'Control, Stabilization and Welfare of Population of the State of UP' and has drafted a Bill." The Law Commission has uploaded the draft Bill on its website and opinion has been sought from the public by 19th July.
