In a conversation with a media reporter, Shaheer Sheikh talked about scenes which he can never forget. He said, "There are two scenes in Mahabharata which emotionally put a lot of impact on me. The first one is Draupadi Cheerharan. I was very disturbed after that scene. I was very depressed for 10 to 15 days. I did not talk to anyone. Whatever happened to him happens somewhere in our society even today. Second scene Abhimanyu slaughter. It was an emotional journey for me."

Shaheer told that when he came to know that he has been selected for the role of Arjun, what was his reaction. Shaheer said, "When I was told that my selection was done. So I could not believe it. I told that I am not capable for this. It is very difficult. I have not done anything before this." Shaheer Sheikh got a lot of recognition from the show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aisi. In this show, he was in the opposite role of Erica Fernandes. The chemistry of both was well liked.
