Indore: The news of the idol of Nandi drinking milk and water in the Shiva temples of MP has created a stir among the devotees. People started arriving at shiva temples in Khandwa, Indore, Mandsaur, Dewas, Khargone, Shahdol and other cities. Some gave milk and water to Nandi with a lota and someone with a spoon.
People reached the Mahadev temples of Indore along with the state to feed Nandi, the ride of the same Mahadev. A gathering of girls with milk in bowls and glasses was seen outside many Mahadev temples. Most people were seen by the video on social media. Rajesh Vijayvargiya, a trustee of Shivdham Pardeshipura, said that several women came to the temple to feed the Nandi idol. People are coming to see the messages going on on social media. Pandit Yogesh Ojha of Gopeshwar Mahadev Temple said that many devotees come to the temple every day for darshan. Some of them have come to feed Nandi.
Apart from this, devotees also reached the Shiva temple in Rajnagar, Hukum Chand Colony, Ramayana Nagar, Dhar Road to feed the idol of Nandi in Indore. Arvind Bhatia, who came to feed the milk, said, "We also fed Nandi milk and informed other relatives about it. The news of God's milk drinking made headlines two years ago in 2019. This has happened many times before 2019.'' On the issue of Nandi drinking milk, some devotees say that Nandi deva, who is happy with Mahadev's worship on Mahashivratri, is drinking milk.
