Mumbai: Four people were killed on the spot when a truck collided with a tractor-trolley near Kondai village on the Solapur-Pune highway in Maharashtra. At the same time, 16 people were injured in this incident. Police said all of them were on their way to Pandharpur in Solapur district when the accident took place during this time. Solapur (Rural) SP Tejaswi Satpute said, "There were 20 people in the tractor trolley who were on their way to Pandharpur on the occasion of Ekadashi."
He further said that during this time the tyre of the truck suddenly burst. After which the driver removed control of the truck and the car collided with the trolley going ahead. All the injured were taken to a local hospital. where their treatment is going on. All the people are residents of Tuljapur in the Osmanabad district. Police said four people, including the woman, were killed in the accident.

Six people lost their lives in a road accident in Etawah in Uttar Pradesh recently. Five people were seriously injured. The incident took place near village Nagla on Saifai Road. Here the truck and the car collided head-on. Etawah Additional Superintendent of Police Satpal Singh said the truck was heading towards Etawah, while the Ertiga car was coming from the front. After the accident, five people on board the Ertiga lost their lives on the spot. One of the men in the truck died during treatment. The collision was so severe that after the accident, the engine of the car fell into the field away from the road.
