Mumbai: Cyclone Tauktae has hit Maharashtra but the damage caused by it is yet to be compensated. In fact, as per the recent information received, a ship full of diesel is still stuck at Vadry Beach in Palghar. Let us also tell you that the ship had strayed from Alibaug and hit a rock near Vadry Beach and many parts of the ship were broken due to collision. Since then, diesel has been leaking continuously in the sea. The ship has not been evacuated from the sea since the storm on May 17. The ship is said to have a diesel load of about 80,000 litres, and the same diesel is slowly seeping around the sea.

So far, fishermen are angry over the ship not being removed from the sea and the continuous oil leakage. Now fishermen say that if the entire diesel spills into the sea, a large number of fish like sea creatures could die. Tell all of you that this ship is stuck between the stones. In fact, after the storm, the government has banned fishing in Mumbai and its surrounding areas till May 31. Due to this, fishermen are currently forced to go for fishing in alibaug and surrounding areas of Vadry.

In such a situation, if there is a leakage of diesel, their business may come to a standstill. Now, the fishermen have demanded that the government take any steps to check the oil leakage at the earliest. If the oil is not cleared by removing the ship in two days, they will be forced to agitate.
