Mumbai: As the time for assembly elections in Maharashtra draws near. The political parties are seen pulling the sword. Shiv Sena has hit its ally BJP. Army criticises Modi government's economic policies in its mouthpiece. The editorial attributed the demonetisation decision of PM Modi's government to the slowdown of the economy and unemployment in the face of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's confession of increasing corruption in the country after demonetisation on Friday.

The editorial of Party's mouthpiece Saamna said that root of the recession and unemployment is the decision to demonetise, the editorial said. The article said that demonetisation has led to the black money of many people to be accepted.

But millions of people lost their jobs, which is a hard truth. The editorial says that it would have been better if the Finance Minister had told him who committed corruption in the present Government and what action was taken on him. "Under the new regime, black money did not come back from abroad and more than 100 industrialists who drowned in the reverse banks fled the country. They were not stopped by the CBI and the ED did not interrupt. Shiv Sena is eyeing the state's CM post.
