Mumbai: There is a rift between the BJP and Shiv Sena over seat-sharing before the Maharashtra Assembly elections. There is a tug of war between the two parties regarding the division of seats. Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray lashed out at the Chief Minister of the state, Devendra Fadnavis, for the division of assembly seats in Maharashtra and said, "I have drawn the path for seat sharing. I have asked CM Fadnavis that you should send a list of those constituencies by determining which seat we have to fight in the assembly elections. I will put this list before Shiv Sainiks".

It is worth mentioning that on Wednesday, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, along with BJP, had indicated that he will contest the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Where he said that since 2014, Shiv Sena and BJP have been together and this support of both the parties will continue. He had said that I have maintained my trust in saffron for the last several years and this trust will continue. He had said that talks between the Shiv Sena and the BJP are in their final stages.
