Mumbai: Maharashtra's newly appointed CM Uddhav Thackeray has asked some questions to Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB). Uddhav Thackeray has said that Home Minister Amit Shah has not answered Shiv Sena questions. The Chief Minister of Maharashtra said that this bill should be discussed in detail in the Upper House of Parliament.
Uddhav Thackeray has said that, 'Who will feel good or bad will not determine the role of Shiv Sena. What does the BJP do for the national interest and the traitors who oppose it? We have to come out of this confusion. The questions that arise about the future of the country. So everyone's opinion should be known on this with detail and generality. I am taking all the information regarding this bill from the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members of my party.
CM Thackeray said, 'You take the suffering people from other countries, the Modi government has started diverting attention from other important issues, the central government is busy diverting attention on topics like onion prices and scarcity of essential commodities. On the question of fear in the mind of the minority, he said that every citizen of the country has a question in mind, it should be answered. Let us tell you that after the Citizenship Amendment Bill is passed in the Lok Sabha on Monday, it will now be discussed in the Rajya Sabha.
