Among all, State Minister Nawab Malik has said that no decision has been taken to set up a lockdown in Mumbai at present.

Recently, he has made a statement and in this statement, he cautioned the people of Mumbai that "people have to cooperate in curbing the covid-19 epidemic, otherwise stringent action will be taken." The number of cases of infection every day in Mumbai has crossed two thousand. On Wednesday, 2,377 cases of coronavirus were reported in Mumbai, while the city's infection cases were 1,922 a day earlier. In fact, in Mumbai, 8 on Wednesday and 4 corona-infected on Tuesday have also embraced death. According to reports, there are 16,751 active patients of coronavirus in Mumbai.

On the other hand, (BMC) has set a target of one lakh vaccines per day to speed up the covid-19 vaccination campaign in the city. Last Tuesday, BMC officials said, "At present, 40 to 45 thousand vaccines are being vaccinated in 85 vaccination centers, including 54 private hospitals, in a day.''
