In fact, in a statement, he has said that the recovery rate from corona in the state has reached 93 percent. The Cabinet is of the view that the lockdown should be extended for 15 days. He has also said that this has been discussed in the Cabinet meeting. However, in districts where cases have come down, some relaxation may be given. The final decision will be announced soon.

Earlier this month, the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maharashtra government extended restrictions like lockdown in the state till June 1 to break the Covid-19 chain.
