Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has recently made a big announcement. Under the announcement, people in the age area of 18 to 45 years will be given a dose of corona vaccine free of cost. This has been sealed by Nawab Malik, the cabinet minister in the Maharashtra government recently. He has announced that corona vaccine will be administered free of cost to people between the ages of 18 and 45 in the state. Not only that, but he also said, "It is the responsibility of the State Government to decide how it implements the vaccination campaign".

In a recent statement, he said, "India has two vaccines. Rates have been issued for Covidshield. The Central Government will get it for Rs.150 and the State for Rs.400 while the private institutions will get Rs.600. Covaccine has also released its new rates. It will be available to the State Governments for Rs.600 to the Centre for Rs.150 and to the Private for Rs.1200". He further said, 'It is clear that the prices are not uniform. We have discussed in the Cabinet that people in the age group of 18 to 45 years will be given the vaccine free of cost. We will invite global tenders and get the proper vaccines at a minimum price. We will take 14 to 15 crore vaccines and give free vaccines to the people of Maharashtra. We will launch a massive vaccination drive in Maharashtra to make Maharashtra free from corona. People in the age-old age of 18 to 45 years will get the free vaccine from the state while those above 45 will be given dose stake under the center's supply as before'.

In the last 24 hours, 3,49,691 new cases of corona infection have been reported. At the same time, 2,767 people have died of corona and 2,17,113 people have recovered in the last 24 hours.
