Mumbai: Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh is once again in trouble. He was accused of collecting crores of rupees and painting in the past and now another case of extortion has been registered against him. Yes, as per the recent information, a total of six persons have been named in the FIR registered against a person for allegedly demanding Rs 2 crore from him. Let us also tell all of you, Param Bir Singh was accused of demanding Rs.15 crores of extortion after he was accused of recovering Rs.100 crores.

An FIR has been registered against the former Police Commissioner at Marine Drive police station in the same case. In fact, a builder has lodged an FIR against eight persons, and six police officers are also involved. At the same time, there are two others who have been arrested. Let us also inform all of you that the builder who registered the case has alleged that he was asked for Rs.15 crores in return for disposing of some cases and complaints registered against him.

Let me tell you that one of the police officers named in the complaint is the DCP in the Crime Branch Unit of Mumbai Police while the other policemen are posted at inspector rank in different units of the crime branch. Two persons have been arrested in the same case. Police are now interrogating the duo. Sources said the investigating officer will soon question other officials involved in the case.
