Mumbai: Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope made a statement last Sunday. In this statement, he said, "The state government plans to fully immunize all teaching and non-teaching employees against Covid-19 by September 5. This will be the first step towards reopening schools.'' In fact, talking to reporters last Sunday, he said, "A special drive is being launched for this purpose. Schools can be opened in districts where there is no positive case. The government is on alert in view of the upcoming festive season.''

You must all be aware that after the recent Onam celebrations in Kerala, it is very important to be vigilant after 31,000 cases of corona infection came to an end in a single day. Health Minister Rajesh Tope said, "The district collectors and local authorities of the state have been ordered for the same. 12,000 doctors are also being recruited in the state for this special verification drive and 7,000 health workers will also be recruited.''

He further said, "We are also increasing the production of oxygen and the number of beds in the hospital in view of the possibility of a third wave of corona infection in the state. 1000 new ambulances have been purchased for patients along with an increase of Rs.1500 in the salaries of ASHA workers. This will benefit 71,000 ASHA workers. 275 crore will be included in the budget.'' The risk of corona infection is increasing in Maharashtra these days and strict instructions are being issued in view of this.
