Mumbai: Vaccination for people between the ages of 30 and 44 has started in Maharashtra today. In fact, the vaccine is being given here in government hospitals and government vaccination centres. At the same time, vaccination is taking place regularly for people above the age of 45 years. Let us tell you that this has been informed by the State Health Minister Rajesh Tope. Recently, he has mentioned that the Centre has given states the flexibility to decide the age of people between the ages of 18 and 44 to give importance first. The state health department has fixed the age limit for streamlining the vaccination drive. Vaccination is now underway from June 19 for those who are 30 to 44 years old.

You can also register online in advance at government vaccination centres for vaccination or you also have the facility of registration by coming directly to the centre. In fact, necessary changes have been made in the Cowin app for vaccination sessions for people between the ages of 30 and 44. As per the information received, the Additional Director of the Department has written to all the Deputy Directors of Health, Civil Surgeons and Health Officers of all the districts of the State in this regard.

At the same time, instructions have also been received to impart training to the concerned employees.
