Mumbai: The investigative Dog of Maharashtra Police has now bid farewell to the world, who was instrumental in solving 365 cases. On Sunday, Police in Maharashtra bid farewell to their Dog colleague Rocky, who died yesterday. This search dog was the eye, nose and ears of Police, as it assisted the Beed Police in solving 365 cases.

The Beed Police bid Rocky a final farewell with all due respect. Rocky was given a final farewell by the policemen with teary eyes and with all due respect. It is being told that Rocky had been ill for a long time. The Beed Police tweeted a photo of Rocky, writing that, "At 4 o'clock this evening, Rocky, our canine companion and colleague died due to prolonged illness. He helped us solve 365 cases. The Beed Police family is deeply saddened by his demise. Tribute to the brave Rocky (Dog)."

Some dogs are specially given training by police and other law-enforcement personnel for various services like searching for drugs and explosives, finding evidence and locating people, Rocky was one of them.
