The actor took to social media yesterday to address the sexual assault of a six-year-old child in Telangana's Singareni Colony. He described the incident as "very heartbreaking."

Many celebrities have come forward to expose the crime after Mahesh Babu addressed it. On September 9, 2021, at Hyderabad's Singareni Colony, a six-year-old girl was sexually raped and killed. Last week, the victim, the daughter of an auto driver, went missing. Corpse eventually discovered her in a remote area near Singareni. The police are still looking for the suspect and have offered a reward of Rs. 10 lakh to anyone who can provide information that leads to his arrest.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Directed by Parasuram, the film stars Keerthy Suresh in the female lead role.
