Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Police has foiled a major terror attack plot. A suspicious bag was recovered near Phalian Mandal police post at Satwari police station in Jammu. Now the police have informed that two IEDs with timers have been found in the bag. It is being told that the IED was active, with timers. A bomb disposal squad was rushed to the spot, which defused both the IEDs, averting a potentially major accident.

According to media reports, the area from where the suspicious bag was recovered is the border area of India-Pakistan. The bag was spotted in the fields by the patrolling team of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday (November 14). After this, the police immediately swung into action and the bomb disposal squad was also called there. Senior officials of the Jammu and Kashmir Police also reached the spot. The area was sealed after the recovery of the suspicious bag. According to the report, both the IEDs recovered from the bag have been defused.

Let us know that Pakistan constantly tries to infiltrate terrorists and sell weapons every day. This is not the first time that a suspicious bag has been recovered in Jammu and Kashmir. There have been many such incidents in the past, where IEDs and different types of explosives have been recovered in the bag. At the end of October, a suspicious bag was also found in Srinagar's Parimpora, but later the police said that there were no IEDs in the bag.
