It is known that director Shankar will be directing Telugu actor Ram Charan for a big project, which will be a pan-Indian film. Though it is not clear when the project will kickstart, the buzz around the female lead in the film has been going on for the past few months. The latest buzz is that Malavika Mohanan is likely to play one of the female leads. We had earlier reported that South Korean actress Suzy Bae was in talks for playing the female lead as well. The film will be produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Interestingly, this is the first time Shankar will be directing a Telugu hero. The film will be shot and released in several languages, catering to a pan-India audience. This film will mark Malavika Mohanan's Telugu debut as well. Actress Malavika Mohanan seems to be on a roll ever since she made her Tamil debut with Rajinikanth-starrer 'Petta'. She then paired opposite Thalapathy Vijay in 'Master' and will soon be seen with Dhanush in his next with director Karthick Narean, which is tentatively called 'D43'.
