Kolkata: Questions are being raised about the data of corona infection patients in West Bengal. Mamata Banerjee is accusing the government of hiding Corona figures in the state, after which the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has come under target of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). To avoid criticisms of the BJP, now Mamata Banerjee has sent a call to politician Prashant Kishore.

According to an India Today report, Prashant Kishore, who was resting in Delhi due to the lockdown after the promotional campaign 'Banglar Garbo Mamta' in West Bengal, has reached West Bengal via cargo flight. Prashant Kishore left Delhi for West Bengal as soon as he received the message from Abhishek Banerjee, the nephew of TMC MP and Mamta Banerjee.

Prashant Kishore also reached Kolkata at the same time, when the Inter-Ministerial Central team sent by the Modi government reached there. This inter-ministerial team of the government has gone to the state to investigate whether the lockdown has been implemented properly here. The report quoted party sources as saying that Abhishek was in his office at midnight to welcome Prashant Kishore and any plans could be made before CM Mamata's briefing in the morning.
