Kolkata: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) -led government in West Bengal on Thursday moved a resolution in the Assembly demanding the repeal of three agricultural laws. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs walked out after a huge uproar in the house. CM Mamata Banerjee said that the Center should repeal these three laws or relinquish power.

Amid the uproar by BJP legislators, Banerjee said that PM Modi should call an all-party meeting to repeal these laws after Parliamentary Affairs Minister Partha Chatterjee moved the motion. There was a lot of uproar in the assembly after Chatterjee moved the motion. The MLA of the party, led by BJP MLA Manoj Tigga, almost reached the seat in the House and claimed that the Trinamool Congress government was carrying out a 'misleading campaign' against the laws.

After this, the MLA of the party walked out of the House with Tigga proclaiming 'Jai Shri Ram'. CM Mamata said, "We oppose the anti-farmer laws. We demand their immediate withdrawal. The Center should either repeal all three laws or withdraw from power. ''
