Kolkata: Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister is on a visit to Goa. She will hold a meeting with media editors in Goa on Monday. There is also a rally of Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee for the first time on Monday. Mamata Banerjee's visit assumes importance in view of the Goa elections. During the visit, he will address several meetings for organizational activities as well as public relations purposes and will also attend a series of public relations events.
Mamata Banerjee has reached Goa on Sunday evening. Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee is also present with him. She will hold a meeting with media editors at 1 pm on Monday. She will later hold discussions with party leaders. Mamata Banerjee's first public meeting is scheduled to be held in Goa at 4 pm. Abhishek Banerjee will also be present at the public meeting in Benaulim.
Mamata Banerjee is scheduled to hold two public meetings on Tuesday as well. She will address a public meeting at Panaji in Goa at 3 pm and Asanora at 5 pm on Tuesday. This public meeting is going to be held to give a message to the people of Goa. TMC has recently announced a scheme of Grihalakshmi Yojana for Goa. However, opponents have mocked the plan. Mamata Banerjee is expected to brief the people about the scheme from the public meeting.
