Kolkata: Amidst the heat of West Bengal assembly elections, CM Mamata Banerjee will present the state's interim budget on Friday. This is the first time in the politics of Bengal when Mamata Banerjee will present the budget herself, because Finance Minister Amit Mitra, who has been running unwell for the last few days, has authorized the CM to present the budget. Let us know that this is the last budget of the current assembly term, due to which it is believed that the election impression can be seen in Mamta's budget.

Before the assembly elections, CM Mamata Banerjee will present the budget herself, which is being watched by everyone. The budget is coming just before the election, due to which many big and populist announcements are expected to be made for the state. Bengal Finance Minister Dr. Amit Mitra wrote a letter to Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar to present the budget of CM Mamata Banerjee due to being unwell. On this, the Governor has authorized Mamata Banerjee to present the budget of 2021-22 and perform the duties of the Legislative Assembly.

Recently, the Modi government has announced several development plans for Bengal in the general budget, which are being seen in association with the state elections. It also announced the National Highway Project for Kolkata-Siliguri for Bengal's infrastructure and a provision of Rs 1,000 crore for laborers working in tea gardens. At the same time, now Mamata Banerjee can now try to give a political message by presenting the budget herself before the elections and making populist announcements.
