Kolkata: Trinamool Congress supremo and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, who is directly contesting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has warned their leaders. Mamata has said in that any leaders who are involved in corruption in government schemes or in any other way will be put in jail. She has made it clear that she will not hesitate to take action even on her party leaders on the issue of corruption.

The warning came at a time when the TMC suffered a setback at the hands of the BJP in one of the two Lok Sabha seats in Nadia district. A senior TMC leader from Nadiya district has said, "Our party chief has warned us against being involved in corruption and said that if we have taken 'cut money' from somebody, it should be refunded. He has told us that if anyone is found taking 'cut money' to benefit from government schemes, he will be arrested.
