Mamata’s kingdom goes under COVID-induced lockdown till July 15

The West Bengal government decides to extend restrictions across the state till July 15 on Monday. In view of the COVID-19 situation, the revised orders are passed.

The health department of West Bengal has registered 1836 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The state also recorded 2022 recoveries, pushing recoveries 1455453. With 29 deaths in the last 24 hours, the cumulative toll reached 17612.

Here are revised guidelines under Mamata Banerjee rule:

*Beauty parlors and salons will stay open from 11-6 pm.

*Offices to stay open with 50 per cent strength and all staff members and customers have to be vaccinated.

*All types of bazaars and markets to open from 6:00 am-12 noon. All other shops will stay open from 11:00-8:00 ppm.

*Gyms to remain open with 50 per cent strength, from 6:00 am -10:00 am and 4:00 pm-8:00 pm.

*Private and government buses can operate from 50 per cent strength while offices can work with 50 per cent strength from 10:00 am-4:00 pm.

*Bank to open between 10:00 am-2:00 pm.

*Trains are yet to resume operations in the state.
