Mamta Banerjee lead government in WB granted land rights to 25000 refugees

Trinamool Congress led West Bengal government which is always soft on refugees has now granted the land rights to 25000 refugee families in the state. The move by the government to grant the land right coincides with the Union Home Minister and former BJP president Amit Shah’s arrival in the state for a two-day visit.

The official reports says the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee granted land rights to 25,000 refugee families and informed including this a total of 1.25 lakh families has been given land rights. The land deed is unconditional, as per the announcement made on this a year ago. Formal hand over procedures of pattas took place during an interaction with the representatives of different communities, folk and traditional artistes most of them representing backward communities.

INR 10 crore and 5 crore has been granted for the Matua Development Board and Namashudra Development Board respectively. She announced that long time complaint of Mathua and other minority communities about nonrecognition is solved now by using pattas as all the colony in Bengal are recognized now. The Government ensured  property of tribals only belongs to them and no one can snatch it away. She assured to resolve the caste certificate issue.
