Cases of corona infection are increasing in India. The increasing cases of corona have raised everyone's concern. For this reason many people are afraid of going to their jobs. One such staggering case has come up in Karnataka. A family living in Kalavikai Chala of Dharwad, Karnataka committed suicide for fear of losing their jobs. Monesh Pattara, 36, first fed poison to his 28-year-old wife Arpita and four-year-old daughter Shukrita. After this, he also committed suicide in front of the dead bodies of both.

Monesh used to work in a private company. In view of the increasing cases of Corona infection, he was afraid of losing his job, due to which he took this dreadful step. Monesh was a resident of Asuti village in Rona taluk of Gadag district. Due to working in a private company, he used to live in Dharwad. He married Arpita five years ago.

Before Arpita's death, the blood pressure was reduced. His daughter had fever. He took both to the local doctor. But, if the daughter's fever did not subside, Monesh felt that it could be the symptoms of coronavirus. So he poisoned the daughter and wife before committing suicide. The Tehsildar of the area visited and inspected the site of the incident. The suicide note written by Monesh was seized by the Dharwad sub-city police and the bodies have been sent to the hospital for post-mortem.
