New Delhi: Crimes are on the rise in today's time. The crime in Delhi is not known to stop and now a young man has been stabbed to death by a young man in Delhi's Jaitpur area. Disturbed by the non-divorce of his two wives, the Bihar resident, who lives in Delhi, strangled both of them and escaped with his minor son. The incident took place on 26th June in Jaitpur area of southeast Delhi.
The accused has been identified as Jamshed Alam, who married his first wife in 2000 when she was just 18 years old. However, in 2009, Jamshed started liking another woman and married her despite objections from his first wife, Ismat Parveen. After marrying his second wife, Zebena, Alam's first marriage was strained.

According to a report by the Times of India, Alam moved to New Delhi in 2016 in search of a better life and started workmanship at construction sites in Noida and Delhi. Alam persuaded his two wives to live together peacefully and went to Delhi with them. The accused took a rented house in the Jaitpur area and stayed with his two wives and a minor son.
Though the accused managed to find a job, it was hard enough to sustain the family. There were regular quarrels between Alam and his wives, which prompted the accused to divorce the two in 2018.

According to the report, the accused managed to kill his second wife Zebena, his first wife, Ismat Parveen. After dinner on the night of June 26, there was a fight between Alam and his first wife, in which the accused strangled her. Later, he grabbed Zebena and strangled her and escaped the spot with his son.
The next day, neighbours complained to the PCR about the smell coming from the house. During the investigation, the police found CCTV footage of the area and Found Alam running away with a heavy bag and his minor son from the house. Police stepped up surveillance and Alam was arrested when he went to meet a relative of his relative in Bara Hindu Rao.
