New Delhi: Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya today launched 'Covid Vaccination Amrit Mahotsav' at Covid Vaccination Camp in Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi. He appealed to the citizen to get the free dose so as to ensure protection against COVID-19.

"All employees of the Health Ministry started receiving the complimentary doses of vaccination. "On 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,' all eligible populations (18+) can get a free precaution dose for the next 75 days, starting today, and I appeal to all people over the age of 18 to get the free dose to ensure your protection against COVID19," said "he said.

A meeting with all Chief Secretaries of all states and Union territories regarding the free preventive dose campaign starting today for the following 75 days is also scheduled to be presided over by Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba.

The free vaccination campaign has been started in an effort to enhance the eligible adult population's uptake of the COVID vaccine's preventive dosage.

This special vaccination campaign, which is a part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav festival, seeks to give free precautionary shots to all individuals (18 years and older) who are eligible at Government COVID Vaccination Centers (CVCs).
