New Delhi: The health of the wife of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has deteriorated. She has been admitted to the neurology department of Apollo Hospital. Doctors say that her tests are going on now. An update regarding this will be released soon. Let us tell you that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia, imprisoned in Delhi's famous liquor scam, has been continuously seeking bail citing his wife's ill health, but he is not getting bail. While hearing his case, the court has even said that all the evidence is against you, it seems that you (Sisodia) are the mastermind of this case, you can go out and influence the evidence and witnesses. That's why you can't be given bail.

Just last week, Manish Sisodia had requested the Delhi High Court for bail. Sisodia had claimed that the central probe agencies have not found any evidence of money trail of the proceeds of the alleged crime. In such a situation, he should also be given bail like the rest of the accused. His lawyer had said in his arguments in the court that at present Sisodia is not in a position to influence the witnesses in the case or tamper with the evidence. In such a situation, he should get bail.

Senior advocate Dayan Krishnan, appearing for Sisodia, presented his arguments in the Delhi High Court. Advocate Dayan Krishnan challenged the lower court's order denying him bail in the Delhi High Court, saying the trial court had not considered the medical condition of Sisodia's wife. His lawyer told in the court that Manish Sisodia's wife is suffering from multiple sclerosis. It is being told that the health of Sisodia's wife is deteriorating. At present, there is no one with her to take care of her. In such a situation, Sisodia should get bail.
