Who is threatening Haryana MLAs from 'Dubai'?

Chandigarh: Taking cognizance of the threats received by some of the MLAs of Haryana, state CM Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday (July 13, 2022) has directed strict action. After the matter came to light, CM Khattar held a meeting with the senior police of the state. State Home Minister Anil Vij was also present. CM Khattar took detailed information about the matter and directed the officials not to bear any kind of negligence in the action.

CM Khattar, while talking on the matter, said that the police officers should ensure the safety of all the citizens of the state and work to put the criminals in jail for such cases. CM Khattar said, "There is no place for crime and criminals in Haryana.'' In a tweet, CM Khattar said that on the issue of threats to MLAs, instructions have been given to take strict action after taking information from Home Minister Anil Vij and senior police officers. No one will be allowed to disturb the law and order in the state and those who do so will be dealt with strictly.

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said, "This is a matter of another country because the calls that have come are from Dubai and are from the same number. For this, our Special Task Force is in touch with national agencies. We're trying to find out soon.''
