After the complaint, Verma was allegedly threatened on social networking site Twitter. Admit Verma himself had complained to Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik. In the past, a media report had pointed out that several mosques have been built in the capital, occupying government land, which is disrupting traffic, hence the need to conduct a survey.
