Ranchi: Several people, led by Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) supremo and former Jharkhand CM Babulal Marandi, today joined the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Jhavimo). An event was organised at the residence of former CM Babulal Marandi of the state, which was mainly attended by JVM supremo Babulal Marandi.

During this period, a large number of people left the party from the Congress and other parties and joined the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha. Party President Babulal Mandi garlanded all the new members and welcomed them to the party. Babulal Marandi said during his address that people are joining Jhavimo to see the party's popularity growing.

Addressing party workers and supporters, Babulal Marandi said that the party is gearing up for the coming assembly elections. He told the workers that a major party meeting has been convened in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand on September 25, which will include workers from all over the province and after reviewing the booth-wise report, all will be given tips for the assembly elections. With the Assembly elections in Jharkhand nearing, Jhavimo is campaigning for a membership drive to boost his strength.
