Actor John is busy promoting the film and a week before the release of the film is also bad news for its audience. In fact, a legal notice has been sent to the film's makers by Maya Sharma, wife of Mohan Chand Sharma, who was martyred at Batla House Encounter.

The martyr's wife further said, 'I felt bad. My husband was an accountant specialist and was considered one of the best officers of the Delhi Police. He was martyred in the operation, if he showed the right things in the film, he should name the film 'Post Batla House' and he has no right to spoil my husband's martyrdom. However, he should have gathered information about my husband before making the film."
