NEW DELHI: The match between the UP Warriors and the Telugu Titans in the Pro Kabaddi League on Friday ended in a tie. The match ended in a 20-20 tie. When the match ended with just 30 seconds left, the two teams were level at 19-19, while Telugu star rider Siddharth Desai went on to the last red. He scored a point in the outing of UP player Sumeet. With this point, the Telugu team had almost won the match 20-19, but Desai's team reached the mat before the last whistle.
The match officials gave the UP warrior a technical number and the match finally ended .' For the Titans, Siddharth Desai scored five points while Farhad Mithgardan and Abozer Mighani scored 4-4 points. For UP, Amit, Srikanth Jadhav and Nitesh Kumar scored four points each.
Siddharth Desai took a 2-1 lead in the opening time. In the sixth minute of the match, the UP Warriors knocked them out and brought the score to 3-5. By the first half, both teams were 11-11. In the second half, the match ended in a tough draw and the score almost went on par. The UP Warriors have moved to eighth place with eight points in four games, while the Telugu Titans are 11th with just five points in five games.
