Lucknow: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) came under fire from Supremo and former Uttar Pradesh CM Mayawati over Akhilesh Yadav's statement in which the Samajwadi Party (SP) chief had said that he too wanted Mayawati to become the Prime Minister. Mayawati hit back at Akhilesh Yadav's statement, saying that those who could not fulfil their dream of becoming the chief minister even after forming an alliance with many parties, how can they fulfil the dream of making others the prime minister.

Mayawati further said that when Akhilesh Yadav has not been able to fulfil his dream of becoming the chief minister by taking the full votes of the Muslim and Yadav community in UP and in alliance with many parties, then how can he fulfil the dream of becoming the prime minister of others? "At the same time, those who have been able to win only 5 seats in the Lok Sabha elections in alliance with the BSP, then how will they be able to make the BSP chief the PM? So they should stop making such childish statements."

BSP supremo Mayawati said, "Whether I become CM and PM or not, I cannot be the president of the country at all in the interest of my weak and marginalised sections." Now sp's dream of becoming the chief minister in UP can never be fulfilled.

What's the whole matter:-

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav had responded to Mayawati's statement by saying that he also wanted the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati to become the prime minister of the country. So in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, his party had formed an alliance with the BSP. Earlier on Thursday, Mayawati had said that she can dream of becoming the CM of PM or UP, but not of becoming the President.

When Akhilesh Yadav was asked a question in this regard, he said, "I am happy. That's what I wanted too. In the last election was aligned with the same will. If the alliance had continued, the followers of BSP and Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar could have seen who would have become the PM. In fact, Akhilesh Yadav had said a day earlier that the BJP had taken the BSP's vote, but will the BJP now make Mayawati the president? On Akhilesh's statement, Mayawati had said that she can dream of becoming the chief minister of UP or the prime minister of the country, but not of becoming the president. Mayawati had said that the SP is responsible for the BJP's victory in UP. The SP is dreaming of making me the President so that I can step down from the path of UP CM's post.
