Ahead of the fifth phase of polling in Uttar Pradesh, BSP chief Mayawati has suddenly gone on the offensive against the BJP. However, till the four-phase polling, she was more aggressive against the Samajwadi Party, the main opposition party, rather than the BJP. Now all of a sudden, she is seen attacking the BJP.

On Saturday, Mayawati appealed to her Dalit and Muslim voters to defeat Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in her Gorakhpur seat. Not only this, but she also made serious allegations against the Yogi government of discriminating against Muslims. For the first time in the entire election held so far, Mayawati has made a direct attack on Yogi Adityanath. And till now she was looking aggressive against Akhilesh Yadav, but now what happened suddenly cannot be said? In a scathing attack on Yogi the previous day, Mayawati said, "Send Yogi ji back to his 'monastery' to his family. He made big promises, but he did nothing.’’

She targeted the chief minister, saying, "Because of his casteist narrow thinking, he ignored the development of scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and extremely backward people. He has not focused on the development of the Muslim community and has made every effort to implicate them in fake cases and destroy them in fake cases under the spirit of malice towards Muslims.”
