Lucknow: There has been an uprising in the BSP during the Rajya Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh. The heat is getting to be seen in politics since this rebellion. 7 MLAs who revolted in the Rajya Sabha elections have been suspended by the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). In these, BSP MLAs Aslam Riney (Bhinaga-Shravasti), Aslam Ali (Dholana-Hapur), Mujtaba Siddiqui (Pratappur-Allahabad), Hakim Lal Bind (Handia-Prayagraj), Hargovind Bhargava (Sidhauli-Sitapur), Sushma Patel (Mungra Badhura) and Vandana Singh (Sagadi-Azamgarh). This was announced by BSP President Mayawati herself.
In one day, 7 BSP MLAs have rebelled and have gone to the Samajwadi Party camp. Due to this, BSP has come on the backfoot but somehow saved the nomination of its candidate and now it is decided to go to Rajya Sabha unopposed. On the other hand, in the case, BSP supremo Mayawati has made a big announcement, 'In any future MLC elections, BSP will vote against the SP candidate, even if he has to support BJP or any other party. '
Mayawati has also called the move of SP BSP alliance during the Lok Sabha elections a big mistake. He said, 'Our party joined hands with the Samajwadi Party in the Lok Sabha elections to fight the communal forces'. Due to his family feud, he could not achieve anything more than an alliance with the BSP. He stopped responding to us after the election and we decided to part with him.
